PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display and whiteness degree adjustment method thereof which can adjust a whiteness degree by electrically correcting an input image signal. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes: a determination circuit 120 for determining whether R, G, B signals of an image signal are coincident when the image signal containing the R, G, B signals is input; a correction processing section 130 for correcting at least one of the R, G, B signals to adjust the whiteness degree when the determination circuit 120 determines that all of the R, G, B signals are coincident; and a drive circuit 40 for driving a liquid crystal display 50 based on the image signal output from the correction processing section 130.
