<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system for performing black balance correction in accordance with a differential between luminance values at a high-luminance displacement point and a low-luminance displacement point in luminance distribution of an observation image. <P>SOLUTION: A microscope system includes: a microscope device; an imaging means for imaging an observation image via the microscope device; a luminance distribution generating means for generating luminance distribution for the observation image; a luminance displacement point detecting means for detecting a high-luminance displacement point and a low-luminance displacement point among displacement points in the luminance distribution; a correction value determining means for calculating a difference between a luminance value at the high-luminance displacement point and a luminance value at a low-luminance displacement point in the luminance distribution and determining the luminance value at the low-luminance displacement point as a correction value in accordance with the differential; an image correcting means which performs correction subtracting the correction value from luminance values of pixels constituting the observation image on the basis of a determination result; and an output means for outputting the corrected observation image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
