<p>Information relating to an imaging location is acquired from a map information acquisition unit. The acquired information relating to the location is superposed on video information and recorded in a recording medium. Upon reproduction, it is possible to perform switching between a display and a non-display mode by superposing the information relating to the separated location on the video. Moreover, it is possible to start reproduction at a portion where a specific location is imaged by using an operation unit to input information relating to the location and extracting the time corresponding to the information from the multiplexed file. Thus, it is possible to record information relating to an imaging location together with video and perform switching between the display and the non-display mode of the information relating to the location. Moreover, it is possible to control reproduction in accordance with the information relating to the location.</p> |
