<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method whereby degradation of an image quality is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method, screen processing is carried out to an original image by screen data which has first pixels formed by n (integer of n≥1) light emitting element spots in a first direction and second pixels formed by m (integer of n≠m) light emitting element spots in the first direction. An output image 17b is thus carried out screen processing. A part 17x (dashed line part) increased in dot size at a connecting part of MLAs is made visually hard to sense, whereby degradation of the image quality is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
