METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING LOCATION OF MOBILE STATION

PURPOSE: A method for tracing the location of a mobile station and a system for the same are provided to use a PN signal which is generated in a relay device, thereby enabling a cell which includes a relay device to exactly trace the location of the mobile station. CONSTITUTION: A PN(Pseudo random Noise) code extraction unit(321) extracts a first PN code which is a PN code of a base station which currently supplies service in signals received from base stations. A PN code analysis unit(322) selects a second PN code which is a PN code that a base station not adjacent to the base station which currently supplies service based on the offset of the first PN code. A PN code generation unit(323) generates a PN signal which includes the second PN code. A PN code transmission unit(324) transmits the generated PN signal and the PN signal of the base station which currently supplies service to a mobile station.
