<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher in which a member changing its posture in response to the change in the quantity of a treating material is found as a connection target of a separation air quantity-adjusting mechanism and which can connect the separation air quantity-adjusting mechanism to the target member to simplify an operation system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided the thresher having a lid body 32B capable of changing and adjusting the quantity of the separation air of a winnower 32, a dust-discharging route for guiding the separation air to the dust-discharging port in the rear portion of the machine frame, and a dust-discharging controlling member 60 placed in front of the dust-discharging port opened outside the machine in the dust-discharging route and capable of being switched into an opened posture or into a closed posture, characterized by connecting the lid body 32B to the dust-discharging controlling member 60 through a connection means E, so that the lid body 32B is switched into a state reducing the quantity of the separation air, when the dust-discharging controlling member 60 is switched into the closed posture side, and the lid body 32B is switched into a state increasing the quantity of the separation air, when the dust-discharging controlling member 60 is switched into the opened posture side.
