PURPOSE: An air valve of a tire vulcanizing mold and an air vent system of a tire vulcanizing mold using the same are provided to prevent leakage of rubber by preventing the inflow of rubber using a tension plate. CONSTITUTION: An air valve of a tire vulcanizing mold is mounted on a through-hole of a vulcanizing mold which is used for the vulcanization of a green tire. The air valve discharges the air created in the vulcanization of a tire. The air valve is composed of a body(6) and a tension member(7). The body has the air extrusion hole(5) upon center. The tension member is assembled in the body. The tension member opens and closes the air extrusion hole in order to seclude the inflow of the rubber.
