<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printing apparatus capable of rapidly determining whether each regular shape region is printed or not, in the label printing apparatus which prints printing data on a label consisting of a regular shape region and a non-regular shape region other than the regular shape region. <P>SOLUTION: A mark region corresponding to each regular shape region is provided on a part of the non-regular shape region. The label printing apparatus prints the printing data in the regular shape region, and simultaneously, prints a regular shape-printed mark indicating that the regular shape region is printed in the mark region (S156). In addition, the label printing apparatus determines the existence of the regular shape-printed mark, and sets a regular shape region except the printed regular shape region where the regular shape-printed mark is printed as a regular shape region to be printed (S152). Then, the printing data are printed in the set regular shape region (S156).
