The element (1) has a rigid crank, and a bearing arranged in the rigid crank for formation of a rotary bearing of an eccentric screw (14) around a rotation axis (M), where the element defines the axis of the rotation around which an end (56) of the eccentric screw rotates. A rotating end of the eccentric screw is mechanically coupled to a drive shaft (2) that rotates around a rotation axis (Z). The former rotation axis (M) is aligned parallel to the later rotation axis (Z), where the element is designed as a single-piece with the drive shaft by welding. An independent claim is also included for an eccentric screw pump.
