PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid feeding device and a printing device, by which the position detection for a carriage, the detection of the emptiness of a main tank, a cleaning process for sucking a liquid from a head, and a liquid discharging process with the head can favorably be performed, and in addition, which is simple in the structures, can be miniaturized, and reduced in costs. SOLUTION: This inkjet prining device 1 replenishes an ink to an ink chamber 50 from an ink cartridge 17 by expanding the ink chamber 50 through bringing a rocking arm 56 into contact with a restraint plate 37 and rocking the rocking arm 56 by the movement of the carriage 23. In the inkjet printer, the restraint plate 37 is made movable between a non-contact position at which the rocking arm 56 does not come into contact with the restraint plate, and a contact position at which the rocking arm 56 comes into contact with the restraint plate 37.
