<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide files and binders which can fasten pieces of paper to be bound in the way that none of these pieces come out loosely from a cover. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The files and binders 1010 with a fastener fitted to a cover, keep the region distant from the binding hole of the piece of paper S to be bound from being crowded out of the edge of the cover connected with a spine 1014, in a direction crossing the opening/closing direction of the binding rings 12 and 14, when the files and binders 1010 are set upright in a direction crossing the opening/closing direction of the binding rings 12 and 14 of the fastener 10. In order to ensure this action, a push-up means 1030 which pushes up the edge of the piece of paper S, is fixed to the cover, and the push-up means 1030 is constituted in the way that it locks to come into contact with and separates from the piece of paper S. Further, when the cover 1012 is closed, the push-up means pushes up the edge S1 below the binding hole of the piece of paper S, so that the push-up means may come into contact with the edge of the piece of paper S and pushes up the latter.
