<p>Provided are a urethane-forming reaction catalyst for the catalytic reaction of isocyanate compounds, and especially aliphatic isocyanate compounds, with hydroxyl group-containing compounds, which is useful when forming urethanes, having no effect on the performance of the urethane material and enabling the catalyst to be removed easily from the urethane material obtained, and a method for producing metal compound-free urethane material using said urethane-forming reaction catalyst. Said catalyst produces urethane materials by reacting isocyanate compounds with hydroxyl group-containing compounds and comprises at least one solid acid catalyst selected from among (A) composite metal oxide where a metal oxide (A-2) or a non-metal compound (A-3) is loaded on a metal oxide carrier (A-1), (B) zeolite and (C) heteropoly acid.</p> |
