PURPOSE: A displacement detection system for a railway expansion joint is provided to monitor the displacement of the railway expansion joint remotely by transmitting measurement data to a remote central server through cable or wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: A displacement detection system for a railway expansion joint comprises a railway expansion joint displacement measuring unit, a wireless data logger(200), a gateway unit(300), and a remote central server(400). The railway expansion joint displacement measuring unit includes a length detecting sensor(110), a sensor case, a wire securing jig, and a measurement fixing part. The wireless data logger receives data measured by the length detecting sensor. The gateway unit receives the measurement data from the wireless data logger through wireless communication. The remote central server receives the measurement data stored in the gateway unit.
