PURPOSE: A monitoring camera is provided to improve convenience for separation and installation of a camera by easily processing a wire, and to prevent a housing to be fallen when the housing is attached from a base. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring camera includes a base(101), a housing(102), and a suspension member(110). The base is fixed on a structure. The housing is attached or detached on the base. A camera module is arranged inside the housing. When the housing is attached from the base, the suspension member hangs the housing on the base. The free fall of the housing is prevented by the suspension member. The suspension member is arranged inside the housing.
