PURPOSE: A simplified spectrometer and a correction method thereof are provided to measure a detected signal of the spectrometer by projecting monochromatic light to the spectrometer. CONSTITUTION: A simplified spectrometer comprises an image mirror(202), a diffraction grating(203), and an array detector(205). The image mirror collects light from an incidence opening(201). The diffraction grating diffracts the collected light. The array detector detects the light diffracted from the diffraction grating. Monochromatic light is projected to the spectrometer. And the spectrometer is corrected by a detection signal output from the monochromatic light.
