PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of lightly returning to a state before game start when a player releases a hand from the state during a game of operating a hitting force adjusting device. SOLUTION: In the pinball game machine including a ball hitting member for hitting a game ball and the hitting force adjusting device for adjusting the hitting force of the ball hitting member, the hitting force adjusting device includes an operation base projecting roughly horizontally from a lower part on the front side of the machine, an operation part 16 having a bottom part 16a and a hand mounting part 16b and capable of swing turning centering on a fixed point, an adjusting means for adjusting the ball hitting member by the swing turning of the operation part 16, an operation part returning means for urging the operation part 16 toward an initial position, and an operation part floating urging means 20 for floating the bottom part 16a of the operation part 16 from the operation base and forming a gap. The operation part 16 and the operation base are brought into contact by the tare of the operation part 16 and the weight of a hand, and a gap is formed between the operation part 16 and the operation base by the action of the operation part floating urging means 20 in the state of releasing the hand from the operation part 16.
