PURPOSE: An engine-start controlling device for a vehicle is provided to simply control a vehicle through button operation by connecting to a connector instead of a key box. CONSTITUTION: An engine-start controlling device for a vehicle comprises a remote controller(30), a smart card(40), a first wireless communication part(21), a second wireless communication part(22), a vehicle interface part(27), relays(26-1~26n), and a microcontroller(25). The remote controller generates radio signals by receiving a user's manipulation. Authentication codes are recorded in a smart card. The first wireless communication part receives radio signals from the remote controller. The second wireless communication part reads the authentication codes recorded in the smart card. The vehicle interface part is inputted with car state signals from the vehicle and outputs the control signals to operate the vehicle. The relays create control signals to control the vehicle. The microcontroller distinguishes a button, which was operated, by decoding the radio signals received from the first wireless communication part.
