<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a lithographic printing plate, which is suitable for suppressing redeposition of a component removed in developing on a plate surface, and for obtaining excellent thin line reproducibility, while maintaining excellent developability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for making the lithographic printing plate includes: a step to expose a lithographic printing plate original plate having an image forming layer containing polymer fine particles including a repeating unit with a polyalkylene oxide segment in a side chain, and that with a cyano group in a side chain on a support according to the image; and a step to develop the exposed lithographic printing plate original plate by using an aqueous solution containing a carbonate ion and a bicarbonate ion and having pH of 8.5-10.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
