<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an appropriate gamma correction when a gamma correction table is updated by calibration. <P>SOLUTION: In a system including a computer terminal 103 connected to a network 102 and a printing apparatus 101, the computer terminal 103 sends print data to the printing apparatus 101 and the printing apparatus 101 stores the sent print data in a memory unit. A table modification processing is performed for performing density control and updating a density correction table through the density control processing.
