The grill (11) has a garnishing area (12) for the prepared food, and has a tilting device having the connecting rods (18,19), which form a connecting device. The connecting device is brought in contact in the connecting track of a cooking device in a preparation chamber. The connecting device has a vertical installation height dependent on the height of the connecting track such that the tilting angle of the grill is bounded against a horizontal level in a defined deployed position of the grill. An independent claim is included for a cooking device with a receiving and guiding device for inserting and carrying in and from the preparation chamber.
