PURPOSE: A circular embossing roller and coated paper using the same are provided to manufacture the coated paper of high quality by preventing damages or dirt to the paper due to an opening shape of an embossed groove in a coating liquid applying process. CONSTITUTION: A circular embossing roller used for coating a coating material on paper comprises a cylindrical roller main body(121a) and a plurality of circular embossed grooves(121b) formed on the roller main body in the predetermined depth; a rotary shaft(121c) formed on the both ends of the roller main body. The circular embossed groove is formed on the surface of the roller body. The circular embossed groove is formed to coat the main body with a metal coating material. |
