The static digital memory retains the control variables for setting the match between the antenna and the transmitter, and/or receiver. The memory automatically adjusts the matching circuits for transmission and changes the control variable to achieve a corresponding match for reception. A differential amplifier is common to both transmit and receive matching circuits and acts as a differential amplifier for transmission and a dc amplifier for reception. Automatic tuning also takes place in addition to atomatic matching. |
