<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring device and a plant monitoring method having high versatility applicable to a variety of abnormalities in a plant. <P>SOLUTION: The plant monitoring device 1 includes a plant data input/storage means 11 for storing measured data of a plant 2 as time series data; a monitoring model creation means 12 for creating a monitoring model; and a monitoring processing means 13 for adopting the monitoring model to determine normality/abnormality of a plant state. The creation means 12 includes an output error model identification unit 21 identifying an output error model; and an estimated deviation characteristic evaluation unit 22 evaluating statistical characteristics of estimated deviations of output variables calculated by adopting the output error model. The processing means 13 includes an output estimated deviation calculation unit 25 calculating the estimated deviations of the output variables; an estimated deviation verification processing unit 26 for verifying variance value change hypotheses of the estimated deviations; and a hypothesis adoption rate determination unit 27 monitoring the abnormality in the plant 2 on the basis of the adoption rate of the variance value change hypotheses of the estimated deviations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
