<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a spin block that, in spinning a multi-spindle group of multifilament yarns using a spinneret pack for multi-spindle use with a plurality of spinnerets set in a single spinneret pack, the heat distribution variation of the spin block body set with the spinneret pack is suppressed as narrow as possible, thereby the physical properties difference among respective multifilament yarns spun from the respective spinnerets is eliminated to obtain high-quality multifilament yarns. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A melt-spinning device for thermoplastic synthetic fiber production has the following scheme: as means for uniformly keeping the hot wall surface temperature of a pack dome including a square spinneret pack for multi-spindle use having a plurality of spinnerets, the respective heat transfer resistances of the longer side and the shorter side of a fitting base set on the bottom end surface of a spin block body with the pack dome are varied, thereby, while keeping the heat output of a zone heater constant, heat transfer by the heat conduction of a liquid heating medium in the spin block is promoted, thus enabling the temperature of the hot wall of the pack dome to be kept uniform.
