PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, downsized in the optical axis direction and easily maintaining the accuracy of rectilinear guide between the respective lenses. SOLUTION: This imaging device includes: lens groups 11-14 moving in the optical axis direction; a cam cylinder 52 provided with a cam controlling the travel in the optical axis direction of the lens groups and rotating around the optical axis; and an inner rectilinear advance cylinder 53 for rectilinearly guiding the lens groups. The device also includes an inner rectilinear advance plate 54 rectilinearly guided by a second intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 4 disposed on the outer peripheral side of the cam cylinder 53 and connected to the inner rectilinear advance cylinder 53. The cam cylinder 52 is held in front and behind by the inner rectilinear advance cylinder 53 and the inner rectilinear advance plate 54 in the optical axis direction, and moved together in the optical axis direction.
