In an arrangement for attaching carriers esp. buckets to a chain conveyor a chain strand consists fo round steel links joined together by cross bolts. The carriers are mounted on the chain strand by means of flanges which form bearings for two successive cross bolts. The flanges (42, 43) are provided at least one end with an open guide slot (44, 45) for each cross bolt (46, 47). The guide slot (44), forms at its closed end a bearing for one of the cross bolts and is enclosed at the open end by a locking part (48), which is in load carrying contact with the cross bolt in the open end. The enclosable guide slot is of a L-shape and its surface (55) adjoining the bearing surface forms a support for the locking part (48). |
