PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute the amount of traffic by making use of information obtained from probe vehicles. SOLUTION: The server device of a probe vehicle system includes a collection part 21 which collects time-of-day information for a plurality of probe vehicles, the information indicating time of day when the probe vehicles enter respective links which constitute a route link line which indicates routes through which the probe vehicles 3 reaches their destinations. On the basis of the collected time-of-day information, the amount of traffic is computed for each link. In case that a destination is not set to a probe vehicle 3, a virtual destination is set on the basis of the information on the past travel route of the vehicle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
