<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy-duty pneumatic radial tire for restraining cracks from being generated at edge parts of sipes, without impairing the wandering resistance produced in the sipes provided on a shoulder edge part of a tread. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sipes 3 crossing over a surfacemost side rubber layer 1a and an inner face side rubber layer 1b on the inner side and extending in a tire width direction are formed on both shoulder edge parts of the tread part 1 at the predetermined interval in a tire circumference direction, and the tire width direction length of the sipes 3 of the inner side rubber layer 1b is shorter than the one of the surfacemost side rubber layer 1a.
