摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping system of a machine tool which can suppress a vibration without changing a working condition by predicting a resonance frequency before work, calculate the change of a form of an object to be worked due to a working process to predict the change of the resonance frequency and continuously exhibit a damping action. SOLUTION: The damping system of the machine tool includes NC program forming means 18, form calculating means 19 for calculating the model data of the object to be worked which is worked by an NC program, vibration analyzing means 20 for numerically analyzing the resonance frequency and a vibration quantity of the object to be worked in the direction of the tool on the basis of the calculated model data, calculated information storing means 21 for coordinating and storing information outputted from the NC program forming means 18, the form calculating means 19 and the vibration analyzing means 20, a dynamic vibration absorber 8 which can arbitrarily change the resonance frequency and control means 22 for controlling the dynamic vibration absorber 8. The control means 22 controls the dynamic vibration absorber 8 in accordance with the information stored in the calculated information storing means 21 to change and control the resonance frequency.
