PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge apparatus preventing a foaming liquid from being heated to a high temperature and maintaining stable pressure in a foaming liquid chamber, by circulating the foaming liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge apparatus displaces a separation film, which separates a first passage and a second passage CH2 from each other, and discharges a droplet from a nozzle. The liquid discharge apparatus includes a screw pump 60 that causes a foaming liquid in the second passage to flow. The screw pump 60 has: a screw 61 accommodated in a supply passage; a driving means 67 disposed outside the supply passage 10; and a power transmitting means 65 of a non-contact type, which transmits driving force of the driving means to the screw by means of magnetic force.
