摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap motor which can hold constituent components accommodated in a rotor frame against a magnetic attraction force even if the rotor frame deforms during high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: The inner peripheral surface 42a and the outer peripheral surface 42b of a magnetic member 42 are formed in a tapered shape so that the size in the radial direction of the magnetic member 42 becomes gradually larger in a direction of the axis of rotation as it comes closer to a main permanent magnet piece 41. The inner peripheral surface 43a and the outer peripheral surface 43b of a sub permanent magnet piece 43 are formed in a tapered shape so that the size in the radial direction of the sub permanent magnet piece 43 becomes gradually larger in the direction of the axis of rotation as it comes closer to a radial rib 35. The inner peripheral surface 37a of a rim portion 37 is formed in a tapered shape so that the size in the radial direction of the rim portion 37 becomes gradually smaller in the direction of the axis of rotation as it comes closer to the radial rib 35 and a main permanent magnet piece 41. The outer peripheral surface 50a of a press-fit ring 50 is formed in a tapered shape so that the size in the radial direction of the ring member 50 becomes gradually smaller in the direction of the axis of rotation as it comes closer to the radial rib 35 and the main permanent magnet piece 41.
