The method involves depositing a coating including mineral powder on a portion of an inner wall of a vial, where an inner surface of the vial is visible through a body of the wall. A portion of the coating is sintered using lasers (L) e.g. ytterbium lasers, in order to bind the powders together and with the vial inner surface, where the lasers are emitted from the exterior of the vial through the body of the vial wall for reaching the coating. The non-sintered coating is withdrawn from the interior of the vial. An independent claim is also included for a vial decorating line for implementing a decorating method.
