<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-progressive spectacle lens which can prevent the shortcoomings of the existing technology. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this invention, the progressive action is distributed over the front and rear surface of the double-progressive spectacle lenses and is described by the quotient Q, Q=Add<SB>vfl</SB>/Add<SB>Gesamt</SB>. In this equation, Add<SB>vfl</SB>represents the increase in the surface dioptric power along the principal line on the front surface that divides the distance area from the near area. Meanwhile, Add<SB>Gesamt</SB>represents the increase in the total refractive modulus along the principal line that divides the long-range region from the close-range region and the quotient Q increases as the effect of the distance area F increases: dQ(F)/dF≥0.
