The device has two connection units with female and male rotation linking elements partially having complementary shapes permitting engagement of the linking elements with each other by transversal movement with respect to a rotation axis of one of axles for establishing a declutchable drive link between the axles. The link is established when each of elements of an assembly is formed by the axles and the connection units are situated in a position. The link is disengaged when one of the elements is situated in another position, skewed with respect to the former position. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a tailgate with a lower part sliding with respect to a glazed upper part.
