<p>A magnetic bearing apparatus which facilitates production thereof and improves precision in production thereof while maintaining an eddy current-reducing effect. The magnetic bearing apparatus (10) supporting a rotary shaft (3) with magnetic force is provided with a plurality of magnetic poles (5) arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft (3) and respectively comprising inner end faces (5b) proximally face the outer surface of the rotary shaft. The magnetic poles adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction respectively extend in the axial directions of the magnetic poles (5) to the inner end faces (5b) of the magnetic poles (5) so as to interfere with each other in the vicinity of the outer surface of the rotary shaft. The interfering portions (5a) of both magnetic poles (5a) which can interfere with each other are cut off.</p> |
