PURPOSE: A height-controllable chair is provided to enable a student to adjust the height of the chair directly. CONSTITUTION: A height-controllable chair includes a backboard part(100), a seat plate(200) united to the lower part of the backboard part, a first leg(300) placed in the lower part of the seat plate, a second leg(400) into which the first leg is inserted, protrusions(310) protruded from the outer circumference of the first leg, a first moderator(410) which is hinge-coupled with the second leg and is caught by the protrusions to control the height of the first leg, and a spring(420) which connects the first moderator with the second leg to apply elastic force to the first moderator.
