<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully ensure excellent security of information of an electronic file by allowing safe sharing of the information of the electronic file and preventing deliberate or negligent leak of the information. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of electronic files 1 each obtained by preliminarily encrypting an empty electronic file is stored in an electronic file vending machine 3 that is an exclusive server having download function. The electronic file vending machine 3 is connected to a user terminal 2 by a network cable 4, and a desired number of electronic files 1 stored in the vending machine 3 can be downloaded to the user terminal 2 by operation of the user terminal 2 while setting a desired password thereto. Input and editing of data can be directly performed to the downloaded electronic file 1 in the encrypted state.
