PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve correction capability of an error, in wireless connection that occurs when q propagation path has time variation or frequency selectivity. SOLUTION: A soft decision likelihood value input to an error-correcting decoding portion is multiplied by a weight, corresponding to the distance between a data symbol corresponding to the soft decision likelihood value and a pilot symbol. Namely, according to the distance between the pilot symbol and the data symbol on the time axis and frequency axis, soft decision bit likelihood value, corresponding to the data symbol, is weighted. Further in details, weighting is performed in such a way that the weight is reduced as the distance on the time axis and the frequency axis becomes longer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
