<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device for effectively suppressing a rotational fluctuation by setting proper hysteresis torque independently of the rotated condition of a rotary member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The damper device includes springs 114a, 114b, 114c, 114d mounted between a hub plate 101 and each of guide plates 107, 108 relatively rotatable, and a friction material 131 mounted therebetween. Between the guide plate 107 and the hub plate 101, a centrifugal element 132 is provided which is moved to the radial outside as centrifugal force is generated along with rotation. On the centrifugal element 132, a first operating face 132a and a second operating face 132b are provided for reducing the frictional force of the friction material 131 with an increase of a rotating speed, and for increasing the frictional force of the friction material 131 when the rotating speed exceeds a preset rotating speed, respectively.
