PURPOSE: An auto-parking braking apparatus for a forklift truck is provided to help the driver operate the truck conveniently and prevent accidents caused when the driver forgets to operate a parking brake. CONSTITUTION: An auto-parking braking apparatus for a forklift truck comprises a seating detector(1) which senses whether the driver sits on driver's seat, a parking switch(2) which allows the driver to input a signal for activating or deactivating a parking brake, a timer(3) which allows a controller to check whether the driver leaves the driver's seat over a set time, and a controller(4) which drives a solenoid(5) to activate the parking brake when the leaving of the driver over the set time is detected and releases the parking brake immediately when a seating signal by the driver is input.
