The assembly to apply a fluid film on to a continuously moving fabric web has all the leading branch channels (20') on a plane parallel to the outflow openings (23). The fluid distribution to the outflow openings (23) is through the second branch channels (21') from the plane of the first branch channels (20') to the plane of the outflow openings (23).
