PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system having a distributed server system allowing a guarantee such that all pieces of content information to be input to the information distribution system are distributable, and to provide a distribution server in the system and a storage method for the content information in the distribution server. SOLUTION: When a storage area for storing new permanent-holding content information acquired from another device is absent in a storage means, non-permanent-holding content information not forbidden with deletion is deleted from the content information stored in the storage means to secure the storage area, and the new permanent-holding content information acquired from the other device is stored in the secured storage area.
