PURPOSE: A teller machine is provided to reduce the time required for processing a deposit and the load of a clerk at the window by treating the paper money exceeding the limited number of notes as one transaction. CONSTITUTION: A teller machine(10) includes a means which handles the paper currency exceeding the limited number of notes, a deposit hole(13), a temporal suspension unit(17) and a note receiving box(18). The deposit hole classifies the injected notes one by one. The temporal suspension unit temporarily suspends the injected notes. The note receiving box keeps the deposited paper money. The limited number of injected notes into the deposit hole is accumulated in the temporal suspension unit.
