PURPOSE: A charnel canister of a propitious site is provided to prevent powdered remains from spoiling and to prevent harmful insects from being generated in the charnel canister by putting in a charm, an oxygen absorbent, or a moisture absorbent in the charnel canister. CONSTITUTION: A charnel canister(10) of a propitious site is composed of a main body(40), inner and outer lids(30,20), a round member(80) displaying a propitious site, and an oxygen absorbent or a moisture absorbent(90). Powdered remains(70) are kept in the main body. A powdered remains housing space part(41) is formed by opening the upper part of the main body and closing the lower part of the main body. The inner lid closes an upper inside placing groove(44) of the main body and the outer lid closes an upper outside placing groove(42) of the main body. The round member displaying a propitious site is attached to the inner floor of the main body and the upper part of the inner lid with an adhesive(50). An embossed part(81) is formed on the round member displaying a propitious site. A charm of the deceased, an oxygen absorbent, or a moisture absorbent is inserted in the round member displaying a propitious site.
