<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device for a boom which enables pin hole alignment of an arm cylinder to an arm only by boom operation by an operator of an operating machine, can reduce a load on a crane operation, and improves assembly work efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of brackets 20 are installed in front of a boom 7 so as to be arranged side by side in a lateral direction. A rod 21 for transportation is inserted into a pin hole 20a of the bracket 20. A mounting platform 22 is installed at a part projecting from each of both side surfaces of the boom 7 of the rod 21 for transportation. The arm cylinder 10 is mounted on the mounting platform 22 and fixed by a fixing means, such as a U-bolt 26 and the like. The arm cylinder 10 is transported by the above structure while being attached to the boom 7. At the time of assembly, the boom 7 is pinned to a revolving super structure and then raised by a boom cylinder to adjust an angle between it and the arm, and a pin hole 36 of a piston rod 10b of the arm cylinder 10 and a pin hole of the arm are aligned with each other to be pinned.
