PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window shutter frame enabling a window shutter to be easily installed in an exterior wall by eliminating a chipping operation for a basement. SOLUTION: This window shutter frame 100 installed in the exterior wall 3 while surrounding a sash 7 having a frame section 5 projecting from the exterior wall 3 includes a shutter storage section 11 attached to the exterior wall on the upper side of the frame section; a pair of guide rails 13 installed in the exterior wall 3 which extends downwards from the right and left sides of the shutter storage section 11 and holding the frame section; and a shutter lower frame 15 which holds the bottom ends of the pair of guide rails 13 by both end upper surfaces, respectively and which is secured to the front surface 17a of the lower rail frame 17 of the frame section. The shutter lower frame 15 desirably includes a base member secured to the front surface 17a of the lower rail frame 17 and an end adjusting member 29 so secured to the base member as to be movable for adjustment in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the exterior wall.
