<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat reclining mechanism capable of preventing a seat outer shape from becoming large, improving the layout of a seat, eliminating the need of a large-sized stopper metal fitting or the like, reducing a cost and making the seat light in weight as well by incorporating a stopper in the reclining mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: For the seat reclining mechanism, a guide bracket 1 is attached to either one of a seat cushion and a seat back, and an internal gear 2 is attached to the other. In the seat reclining mechanism, a forwardmost-inclination stopper protrusion 1f corresponding to the forwardmost-inclination position of the seat back and a rearwardmost-inclination stopper protrusion 1g corresponding to the rearwardmost-inclination position are formed on the guide bracket 1. A stopper plate 6, where a forwardmost-inclination stopper portion 6b to be brought into contact with the forwardmost-inclination stopper protrusion 1f in forwardmost inclination and a rearwardmost-inclination stopper portion 6c to be brought into contact with the rearwardmost-inclination stopper protrusion 1g in rearwardmost inclination are formed, is fixed to the internal gear 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
