PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger enabling further reduction in the size. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 1 includes a heat-transfer pipe group 2 comprising a plurality of first heat-transfer pipes 3 and second heat-transfer pipes 4. The first heat-transfer pipes 3 are arranged in one direction so as to be brought into contact with each other. The heat-transfer pipes 4 are arranged on one side of the first heat-transfer pipes 3 along the first heat-transfer pipes 3 so as to be brought into contact with both of the adjacent first heat-transfer pipes 3. The heat-transfer pipe group 2 is formed to have a spiral shape wound in the second heat-transfer pipe 4 side while alternately repeating linear parts 2a and bent parts 2b bent with a constant bending radius at approximately 90°.
