PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel for CIP shaping capable of preventing effectively sticking of ceramic powders. SOLUTION: The mandrel for CIP shaping is used for dry type hydrostatic pressure pressurization of ceramic powders and has an outermost surface layer composed of a diamondlike carbon (DLC) having the maximum height Rmax of 1.0μm or less and a contact angle to water of 75°or more, and the mandrel can be applied to a mandrel 16 of a CIP shaping device 10 for molding hollow tube having a bottom cap.
