A method for restoring the intestinal continuity after Hartman's surgery with the cicatrical narrowing of colostoma with the aid of the circular suturing apparatus provides for applying the purse-string suture proximal to colostoma at a distance of generating colorectoanastomosis. Seven days later, the colostomic opening is obturated. When the complications are absent, the intra-abdominal closure of colostoma is provided 3 weeks later.
